There are a number of ways large groups of 12 or more can tour Kalona and
learn about the local Amish with advance reservations made at least 2 weeks in advance.
* You must have your own group of 12 or more people to do the following. We do not combine groups.
Countryside Tour
Discover the world of Kalona businesses or the Amish who continue to live the simple, wholesome lives of our pioneers. Drive past their homes, schools, and farms as you learn about their fascinating traditions and customs.
$20.00 – Includes 2 destination locations
Minimum of 12 Adults are necessary to reserve a date. There is no meal with this option.
Country Culinary
Enjoy a “family-style” meal in a Mennonite home while you learn about the Amish and Mennonite way of life from a local guide.
From home-baked bread to fresh fruit pies, we ensure you won’t leave hungry.

Extended Countryside Tour
Learn as you visit 2 destination locations of your choosing and top off your tour with a wonderful, home-cooked, “family-style” meal in a Mennonite home.

Ultimate Day Tour
Start your day at the Village welcome center with Coffee, Strudel, and a tour. Then visit your choice of 2-3 destination locations. Learn interesting insight as you travel and tour the countryside.
