Kalona and its surrounding area have a history rich with stories – stories the Kalona Historical Society is dedicated in preserving. The Society’s enthusiastic staff and dedicated volunteers pride themselves on bringing the stories of early residents to life through innovative programs and exhibits. Celebrating our history brings our community closer together.
Support and interest in the activities and mission of the Kalona Historical Society from our members is noted and appreciated. The Kalona Historical Society always welcomes new members and we have various membership levels to choose from. The membership levels we offer are : Individual – $35.00 per year, Senior Citizen/Student – $30.00 per year, and Family – $65.00 per year, Grandparents – $60.00 per year
The following is a list of benefits included with an annual membership:
- Unlimited visits for the year – Excluding Fall Festival admission – Individual – for 1 person, Senior – for 1 person, Family – for dad, mom, kids, Grandparents – for grandma, grandpa, and grandkids
- Quarterly Newsletter with special features, upcoming events and much more
- 10% discount on Gift Shop items
- Membership card which is required to receive your free tours and gift shop discount
