Knitting Class at the Village

An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Saturday, repeating until March 15, 2025
Learn to knit, or brush up on your knitting skills, with this two-session class at the village.
All materials are provided (needles included). In the first class we will knit one small stocking ornament, learning to cast on, knit, purl, decreasing, bind off, and sewing. The second class will continue with knitting a mitten ornament which teaches the same techniques, but adds increasing stitches.
Each class will have time for people to bring their own knitting to ask questions.
$45 for the class, due at first meeting – remember, all materials and tools are included. Yarn, needles, and instructions for the stocking, mittens, a bell, and hat will be yours at the end of the two-session class.
10 students total: 5 persons who have never knitted but want to learn and 5 person who have knitted but want a refresher (or to learn a new technique).
