  Tour Our Historical Village  (SA)

Filled with interesting and informative displays that depict the lifestyle and living conditions of the early Iowa pioneer through 20th century.  Our guides bring history to life in our rural farm, one room school house, post office, general store, and other authentically restored buildings. Tour topics can be arranged to meet your class curriculum.  Takes approx 2 hours.

Our step-on guide directs your bus out into the Amish countryside to your choice of 2 destinations, while outlining the rigorous days that make up life on an Amish farm. Then return to the Historic Village to view authentically restored buildings, filled with informative displays depicting the lifestyle of the early Iowa pioneer through the 20th century.  Takes approx. 3.5 hours

    Add-On Option: Sack Lunch
With advance reservation, a simple sack lunch can be provided in addition to both of the tours options described above.  Lunches may be eaten in our meeting hall, or outside as a picnic, weather permitting. Sample sack lunch may include a cold meat sandwich, chips, apple and milk.
